The feature uses Meta’s secure “Private Processing” technology, ensuring that message data remains confidential and is not visible to Meta or WhatsApp. This optional feature is currently available in English for users in the U.S., with plans to expand globally in 2025. Users can control or disable it through advanced privacy settings for each chat.
