Meta is enhancing WhatsApp Business with two new features arriving soon. Aimed at improving customer interaction and boosting sales, the updates were announced at the Conversations conference in Miami.
Larger businesses will gain the ability to make and receive voice calls directly within WhatsApp Business. This feature streamlines communication, enabling direct voice interaction with customers for support or sales purposes.
Additionally, Meta is introducing “Business AI,” an AI chatbot designed to provide automated product recommendations to customers. This AI-powered tool aims to increase sales by proactively suggesting relevant items based on customer behavior and preferences. Both voice calling and Business AI are expected to roll out to users in the coming weeks.
