Web3 game discovery platform and wallet app Glip raised $2.5 million in funds led by Hashed Emergent where BEENEXT and existing investor Prime Venture Partners also participated.
Glip aims to attract millions of gamers to Web3 and continues to integrate Web3 games such as Axie Infinity, League of Kingdoms, and KOF Arena by Netmarble to increase user acquisition and engagement. The funds will be used to expand the startup’s 10-person team, launch new product features, and grow its global community. Furthermore, in order to stay lean, it employs a zero-marketing-burn strategy.
In a move that reinforces WPBL’s structured and strategic approach, the league has announced the elevation of Charlotte Whitby-Coles as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Having played a pivotal role in player scouting, management, and relations during WPBL’s inaugural season—along with her on-ground expertise—Charlotte was instrumental in ensuring a seamless, world-class sportainment experience in the recently culminated inaugural season.
