Warburg Pincus-backed Whatfix lays off 6% of staff; trims sales, marketing roles

Software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Whatfix has laid off around 60-80 employees, according to three people aware of the development. The Bengaluru-based firm has handed pink slips to employees in its sales and marketing teams as increased adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) has led to a slowdown in the company’s growth over the past few quarters, one of the persons said.
