The initiatives aim to ensure responsible AI development and address potential harms associated with the technology. Harris emphasized the need for AI to be adopted and advanced in a way that safeguards the public and highlighted the potential risks, from cyber attacks to bioweapons. A Political Declaration on the Responsible Use of AI and Autonomy was also announced, signed by 30 nations.
