Uber, NVIDIA join hands to launch world’s largest Robotaxi network by 2027


Uber has partnered with American technology company NVIDIA to make the world robotaxi-ready. The ride-sharing giant has announced plans to deploy a massive fleet of 1 lakh autonomous vehicles globally by 2027, calling it the world’s largest Level-4-ready mobility network.

Under the partnership, Uber will integrate robotaxi and autonomous delivery fleets using NVIDIA’s AI computing systems.

The collaboration will use NVIDIA’s new DRIVE AGX Hyperion 10 platform and DRIVE AV software, which are designed specifically for high-level self-driving (L4)…
