Foxconn, the biggest vendor globally for Apple, is eyeing 300 acres along the Yamuna Expressway at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh to set up its first facility in north India, people aware of the developments told ET.
“This facility has the potential to be slightly bigger than its upcoming facility in Bengaluru, which is set to become the company’s second largest globally,” said one of the persons cited above. “The products that will be manufactured out of the plant are yet to be ascertained and discussions with the government are ongoing.”
