New trouble appears to be brewing for Apple, as Match Group, which owns and operates Tinder and OkCupid, has reportedly filed an antitrust lawsuit against the tech behemoth in India.
Match accused Apple of’monopolistic conduct’ and forcing developers to pay high commissions for in-app purchases in a filing with the Competition Commission of India (CCI), according to news agency Reuters. Match claimed that Apple does not allow apps on its app marketplace to use alternative payment methods and instead requires them to pay high commissions. Match stated that in the Indian context, local users prefer UPI as a payment option, implying that the payment method is not permitted to be used on iOS apps.

Long before Edgar Wright’s The Running Man hits theaters this week, the director of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz had been thinking about making it.
