Polish game developer 11 Bit Studios is under scrutiny following accusations of using AI-generated content in their recently released survival game, The Alters. A player highlighted potential AI-written text within the game, sharing a screenshot suggesting the use of a generative AI tool’s output.
Responding to the allegations, 11 Bit Studios admitted to utilizing AI-generated assets during the development process. However, they clarified that these assets served solely as placeholders and were not intended for inclusion in the final version of the game. The studio has assured players they are working on an update to remove these unintended AI-generated elements, reaffirming their commitment to authentic and original content.
