Innovative European businesses can access a new series of financial packages thanks to the European Investment Bank’s recently launched TechEU programme.
Described by the EIB as the “EU’s largest ever financing programme to support Europe’s innovators from idea to IPO and from lab to leadership”, the initiative aims to support 1,000 innovators annually through a planned overall investment of €250b, of which €70b in equity, quasi-equity, loans and guarantees will be channelled by the EIB (from 2025 to 2027).
