Tech Mahindra Appoints Richard Lobo as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

On January 3, Tech Mahindra appointed Richard Lobo, a former Infosys executive VP of human resources, as its chief people officer, marking a global role shift. This move is part of Tech Mahindra’s ongoing leadership restructuring led by CEO Mohit Joshi, reported earlier by Moneycontrol on November 10.

Tech Mahindra’s statement highlighted Lobo’s 25 years of HR expertise, stating, “Richard is set to lead the #HR charter at @Tech_Mahindra. Together, we’ll continue to scale people processes, drive sustainable growth, and create an unparalleled working environment based on our people-first principles.”

Lobo, having worked at Infosys for over 22 years, was a former colleague of Joshi and stepped down from Infosys in August. Prior to joining Tech Mahindra, he served as an HR consultant and strategic advisor at BYJU’s.

CEO Mohit Joshi welcomed Lobo aboard, stating, “Welcome aboard, Richard.

Your people-first approach to empower organisations in the new world of work and passion for nurturing young leaders will serve as a catalyst in shaping our future. Look forward to taking #TechMahindraOnwardsAndUpwards, together.”

In a parallel move, Tech Mahindra also appointed Peeyush Dubey, former LTI chief marketing officer (CMO), as its CMO. This appointment follows the restructuring by CEO Mohit Joshi, wherein Harshvendra Soin, previously handling both CHRO and marketing roles, will now focus on leading the consolidated Asia Pacific and Japan business, relocating to Australia.

Joshi’s restructuring plan, outlined during the second-quarter earnings conference in October, introduced a vertical-wise focus on delivery, dividing Tech Mahindra into six business units: Americas Communication, Americas Technology Media, Americas diversified, EMEA, APJ, and India.

Long before Edgar Wright’s The Running Man hits theaters this week, the director of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz had been thinking about making it. He read the original 1982 novel by Stephen King (under his pseudonym Richard Bachman) as a boy and excitedly went to theaters in 1987 to see the film version, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Wright enjoyed the adaptation but was a little let down by just how different it was from the novel. Years later, after he’d become a successful… Source link
