startup funding: ETtech Deals Digest: Startup funding drops 92.3% on-year to $83.6 million this week


Startups raised around $83.6 million between December 14 and 20, marking a 92.3% decrease compared to the same period last year.

This also represents an 88.6% decrease from last week’s total of $735.9 million.This week, startups raised funds through 17 deals, compared to 44 in the year-ago period, when they raised a total of $1.09 billion, according to data from data intelligence platform Tracxn.
