Sony Online Store Begins Accepting USDC via Crypto.com Pay in Singapore

Sony Electronics has begun accepting USDC stablecoin payments in Singapore through a partnership with Crypto.com, a virtual digital asset exchange. This allows customers of Sony’s online store in Singapore to purchase goods using USDC.

This move signifies Sony’s continued exploration of the Web3 space, following the recent launch of its Soneium blockchain. While initially limited to Singaporean online customers, the integration demonstrates Sony’s commitment to embracing cryptocurrency and blockchain technology within its business operations. The collaboration with Crypto.com streamlines USDC transactions, offering a new payment option for tech-savvy consumers in the region.
