Shortage to scam: Fake fertilisers, pesticides flood farms – how much is China to blame?


Government authorities in Uttar Pradesh, one of the major producers of agricultural commodities like wheat, rice, maize, sugarcane, pulses, and mangoes, have recently seized more than 100,000 bags of counterfeit fertiliser.
