Sarvajanik University Hosts 3rd Convocation Ceremony


Surat (Gujarat) [India], February 24:  Sarvajanik University celebrated its 3rd Convocation Ceremony yesterday, where 1,318 students received their degrees across 37 undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs. The event, held on the university campus, was graced by distinguished guests, including renowned astrophysicist Dr. Pankaj Joshi, who delivered the keynote address.

Dr. Joshi encouraged the students to prioritize happiness over conventional notions of success, advising them to define their personal goals and pursue a fulfilling career.

The ceremony also featured addresses by the Guest of Honour, Dr. Faruk Patel, Chairman of the KP Group of Companies, and philanthropist Shri Rajen Shah. Dr. Faruk Patel emphasized the importance of hard work, discipline, and righteousness in one’s life, while Shri Rajen Shah encouraged students to embrace lifelong learning and adaptability as essential qualities for success in an ever-evolving world. Gold medals and awards were distributed to top-performing students, recognising their academic excellence.

On this occasion, the University President, Shri Bharat Shah, and Provost, Dr. Kiran Pandya, also delivered inspiring speeches, motivating students to continue their journey towards success with purpose and determination. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Registrar Ashish Desai, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty, and students for making the convocation a memorable celebration of academic excellence.
