Samsung’s long-rumoured tri-fold phone could finally debut in October

Samsung’s tri-fold smartphone has been in the rumour mill for what feels like forever, but it looks like the wait might finally be over. The device — possibly called the Galaxy Z TriFold — is reportedly gearing up for an October launch, with the big reveal expected around the APEC summit in Gyeongju on October 31 and November 1.

It’s not yet clear if Samsung will hold a full-fledged launch event or simply showcase the device at APEC, but either way, the timing lines up with whispers we’ve been hearing all year.
