Samsung has filed a lawsuit asking a Delaware court to rule that it did not violate Netlist’s patent rights. The dispute centers around Samsung’s “memory modules” used in servers and computer systems, which it argues do not infringe on Netlist’s memory patent. Samsung has also requested damages from Netlist for violating fair licensing agreements. Netlist has accused Samsung of infringing other memory-related patents and has ongoing cases against Google and Micron Technology. A jury previously awarded Netlist over $303 million in damages for infringement by Samsung’s memory modules.
