Ripple Secures DFSA Licence to Offer Crypto Services to UAE Businesses, Financial Institutions



Ripple has secured a license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), marking a significant milestone as the first blockchain payments provider authorized to operate within the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Announced on March 13th, this license empowers businesses in the UAE to utilize Ripple’s crypto payment solutions.

Over the coming months, Ripple will extend its services to UAE-based financial institutions, enabling them to explore practical applications of digital assets. Founded in 2012, Ripple is dedicated to offering enterprise-grade blockchain solutions, aiming to streamline cross-border payments and facilitate the tokenization of real-world assets.
