Jeff Bezos’ former housekeeper, Mercedes Wedaa, sued him for racial bias and unsafe working conditions. The case was dismissed, but court filings revealed a copy of her 22-page NDA, which she had to sign before being hired. The NDA required her to keep all information about Bezos and his family confidential. This is the first time an NDA has been part of court proceedings, although it is common for celebrities to have NDAs for their housekeepers. The NDA also prohibited Wedaa from discussing or disclosing any information or personal opinions about Bezos or his family members.
