The company is reportedly selling vinyl covers designed to obscure or dim the LED light, a move aimed at bypassing the intended privacy safeguard. Past attempts to disable the indicator have been unsuccessful. According to a Wired report, these covers are allegedly being marketed on TikTok. However, the report also suggests the vinyl covers may not function effectively. This raises concerns about potential misuse of the glasses and the erosion of privacy protections.
