Rapido strengthens bike taxi captain’s earning potential in Hyderabad

In an exciting development, Rapido, the country’s leading auto-tech aggregator, is thrilled to announce a game-changing bike taxi experience and empower its esteemed captains. With introduction of the special destination access and a revised minimum fare by 50% from Rs 20 to Rs 30, Rapido is taking a giant leap towards propelling its captains to better income prospect, even for shorter distances.

This transformative move solidifies Rapido’s unwavering commitment to its captains, ensuring they can maintain better livelihoods and providing them with a strong foundation for financial stability. In addition, Rapido has revamped the rate structure through which captains can earn 15% more for both shorter and longer distance rides.

Effective immediately, the ride rates have been adjusted to Rs. 8 per kilometer for up to 8 kilometers and Rs. 11 per kilometer beyond that distance. Comparing other e-commerce platforms who are paying their delivery partners Rs. 40-45 per order, Rapido’s revised fare enables Bike Taxi Captains to earn a minimum of Rs. 60 per order which is the best pay in gig industry.

Additionally, Rapido has introduced an exciting new feature that empowers the Captains with greater control over their trips. The captains will now have access to vital information about the destination before accepting a ride, empowering them to make informed decisions which align with their preferences. This will result in enhanced efficiency, reduced cancellations, and improved overall experiences for both captains and riders. This feature will be a game-changer, elevating the bike taxi experience to new heights.

According to Pavan Guntupalli, Rapido is dedicated to providing fair and competitive earnings for their Bike Taxi Captains and he stated, “Our esteemed captains are the heart and soul of Rapido. We believe in recognizing the efforts of our Captains by offering them increased earning opportunities. With the revised rate card, our captains can earn a minimum of Rs. 60 per order, surpassing the earnings provided by most e-commerce platforms. We are proud to empower our captains and contribute to their better standard of living.”

By choosing Rapido, customers can trust that their trip supports the livelihoods of dedicated Bike Taxi Captains who receive competitive compensation for their services. Rapido’s commitment to empowering captains through fair earnings sets a positive example for the industry, fostering a healthier gig economy for all stakeholders involved.
