Aggressive scale-up and fast growth have prompted quick commerce platforms to step up the onboarding of last-mile delivery workers, according to industry executives and staffing firms.
India’s quick commerce sector, dominated by Eternal-owned Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy’s Instamart, now employs 450,000-500,000 monthly active delivery partners, up 70-80% compared with 250,000-300,000 last year, a senior industry executive said.
