“For enterprises in particular, data management – getting access to the data and preparing the data for AI – is going to be a very large challenge,” he said. “Even if they are using third-party AI environments, to get their data ready to be accessed by AI is going to be a very big challenge. Then, of course, there’s the whole issue of being able to provide data storage that operates at the speed of AI.”
Giancarlo said Pure Storage relies heavily on its development centre in Bengaluru, which is one among three such centres globally, to drive innovation across geographies.
