Plant-based meat brand Shaka Harry raised $2 million in funds led by Better Bite Ventures, Blue Horizon, and venture debt fund Panthera Peak where other investors including Dexler Holdings, Chef Manu Chandra, and a group of domestic family offices and angel investors also participated.
Shaka Harry creates novel plant-based meat products. The company has 25,000 monthly customers and plans to grow by 20 to 30 percent in the coming quarters. Shaka Harry’s products are sold in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Gurgaon.

Long before Edgar Wright’s The Running Man hits theaters this week, the director of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz had been thinking about making it.
