Perplexity is aiming for massive user growth by 2026, targeting “tens to hundreds of millions” through pre-installation of its Comet browser on smartphones. The AI-powered browser, fueled by the same AI engine behind Perplexity’s search platform, launched on July 10th and is currently exclusive to Perplexity Max subscribers. A wider rollout via an invite system is planned soon.
