OpenAI has rolled out a new social media app called Sora, which lets users create and share short AI-generated videos. It directly takes on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. Sora is powered by the latest version of OpenAI’s video model, Sora 2.

The app allows users to create short clips, sometimes using copyrighted material, which are then shared through a scrollable feed similar to those on other video platforms.
