Nvidia partners with Quantum Machines to combine classical and quantum machines

In a move to push the boundaries of computing technology, Nvidia has announced its partnership with Quantum Machines, an Israeli-based start-up specializing in quantum computing. The collaboration aims to combine classical and quantum computing systems to enhance the power of AI and scientific simulations.

The partnership between the two tech giants comes at a time when quantum computing is gaining momentum in the tech industry, with experts touting it as the future of computing. Quantum computing offers the ability to perform complex calculations at a much faster rate than classical computers.

Nvidia, known for its cutting-edge graphics processing units (GPUs) and high-performance computing, will work with Quantum Machines to integrate its GPUs into Quantum Machines’ quantum orchestration software platform. This integration will enable scientists, researchers, and AI developers to access and utilize both classical and quantum systems in a single platform.

The combined classical and quantum computing platform will allow researchers to perform complex simulations that are beyond the capabilities of classical computers alone. The platform will also provide AI developers with access to quantum-inspired algorithms, which can enhance the speed and efficiency of AI systems.

Nvidia’s GPUs are expected to bring significant advantages to the quantum orchestration software platform. They offer high performance and energy efficiency, which is crucial in achieving the maximum potential of quantum computing systems.

According to the CEO of Quantum Machines, Dr. Itamar Sivan, the partnership with Nvidia will “significantly advance the capabilities of the quantum ecosystem, helping to bring quantum computing closer to realizing its potential.” The partnership will also facilitate the development of new applications in the fields of drug discovery, material science, and cryptography.

The collaboration between Nvidia and Quantum Machines represents a significant milestone in the development of computing technology. The integration of classical and quantum systems is expected to unlock new frontiers in AI and scientific research, with potential applications across various industries.

Long before Edgar Wright’s The Running Man hits theaters this week, the director of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz had been thinking about making it. He read the original 1982 novel by Stephen King (under his pseudonym Richard Bachman) as a boy and excitedly went to theaters in 1987 to see the film version, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Wright enjoyed the adaptation but was a little let down by just how different it was from the novel. Years later, after he’d become a successful… Source link
