NASSCOM onboards Sap Labs India MD Sindhu Gangadharan as Vice Chairperson

the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) today announced the appointment of SAP Labs India SVP and MD Sindhu Gangadharan as its Vice Chairperson.

Earlier this year, Sindhu was also appointed as Chairperson of the Nasscom GCC Council 2023-25.

Sindhu will contribute to India’s TechAde initiative

According to a statement, In her new position, Sindhu will utilize her vast experience in technology and corporate leadership, accumulated over years of work in India and Germany, to contribute to India’s TechAde initiative.

Gangadharan is well-known for her human-centric approach to technology. She holds the distinction of being the first woman to head SAP Labs India, the largest global R&D centre for SAP.

In this role, she supervises product development and innovation across multiple centres in India, including Bangalore and Mumbai. Additionally, she leads SAP User Enablement, a division focused on enhancing the user experience across SAP’s entire product range.

Sindhu’s other leadership positions

In addition to SAP Labs India, Sindhu Gangadharan holds significant positions in several organizations, including Siemens India and Titan Company Limited, and is a key member of the steering committee of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, facilitating trade discussions between India and Germany.

Gangadharan’s efforts in promoting youth empowerment in India have also earned her a place on the Advisory Board of YuWaah, a project backed by UNICEF.
