Multi-brand EV platform BLive partners with RunR Mobility to introduce its EVs

Bengaluru-based multi-brand EV platform BLive has announced its partnership with RunR Mobility to introduce its range of EVs to BLive EV stores across India.

The partnership comes almost two months after BLive partnered with another EV startup Revolt Motors to introduce its RV400 EV bike on its platform.

Why has BLive partnered with RunR Mobility?

Founded by Setul Shah, Gujarat-based RunR Mobility manufactures 100% indigenous high-speed smart-electric scooters with swappable batteries, providing affordable commute solutions to fleet owners, delivery partners, etc.

The EV startup claims to have a cutting-edge 4.2-acre plant that can build 500 vehicles daily. It claims to be among the few EV manufacturers in Asia that own an innovation hub incorporating in-house battery and motor testing.

“It gives me immense pleasure to join hands with RunR Mobility and introduce their revolutionary range of electric vehicles to BLive EV stores. Armed with a vision to carve a mark on the global EV map as the most sustainable, profitable, innovative, and promising brand, Run R Mobility is taking giant strides in its pursuit of excellence and is aligned with our mission of faster EV adoption throughout the country,” said Samarth Kholkar, CEO & Co-Founder of BLive.

Setul Shah said, “We are excited to partner with BLive and join forces towards our shared commitment towards wider adoption of green mobility. Our electric scooters have several benefits that make them an excellent choice for the world. They are environmentally friendly and indigenous, producing zero emissions, which will help reduce air pollution in cities.”

What are the offerings of RunR Mobility?

RunR Mobility said that its EVs are affordable and need less upkeep compared to regular fuel scooters. It offers two exchangeable batteries, allowing to run constantly without long charging times, which is beneficial for prolonged use by businesses or individuals.

The startup also provides its customers with a smooth after-sales experience with low ownership costs. Additionally, the vehicles also come with advanced features like GPS navigation, real-time information and diagnostics, remote tracking, theft protection, a display for easy viewing, effective battery management, and systems to predict when maintenance is needed, it said.

RunR Mobility said it has extensive research and development (R&D) resources, including a specific 1000-square-foot area solely for R&D. The startup allocates a specific budget for R&D and has a committed team of over five main members. It has also partnered with a company in Spain to confirm the vehicle dynamics.
