At the Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft unveiled its first foray into handheld gaming with two new Xbox-branded PCs developed in partnership with Asus: the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. Designed for portable gaming, these devices offer a unique blend of Xbox’s gaming ecosystem and Asus’s hardware expertise.
The ROG Xbox Ally, powered by a Ryzen Z2 A processor, serves as the entry-level option. For enhanced performance, the ROG Xbox Ally X boasts a more powerful AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme chipset. Both models share a 7-inch 120Hz LCD screen, providing a smooth visual experience. The ergonomic design incorporates a new grip that mirrors the familiar feel of an Xbox Wireless Controller, ensuring comfortable gameplay.
