I feel like I’ve written this post before, because I sort of have. Rumors have been swirling in recent times about Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launching early, and they’re not stopping.
The last rumor wasn’t even fully bought into by the person releasing it, and the latest, well that seems to be nothing more than a case of a mistake somewhere in PlayStation’s systems.
Another week, another new wave of games launching across the Xbox Store. This week, one of the biggest games of the year finally arrives, with Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. This new title is again led by Treyarch and Raven, with a co-op campaign, expanded Zombies mode, and more. It’s also the final Xbox first-party game to launch in what has been an absolutely packed year. As such, it’s naturally available day one for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. ARC Raiders is off to a massive start, peaking at well over 260,000 players on release day. The game would go on to eclipse the 350,000 player mark only days later that weekend. Usually, that’s the end of it, but not for ARC Raiders. Not only did ARC Raiders break that record on Friday, but also on Saturday and Sunday.
