Logistics Giant Delhivery Launches Location Intelligence Solution LocateOne

Listed logistics giant Delhivery has launched ‘LocateOne’ – a location intelligence solution to help businesses improve address data, rooftop accuracy and reduce fraud.

The new feature will be part of Delhivery’s software offerings on the OS1 platform.

OS1 offers full software solutions for businesses to run logistics and supply chain operations efficiently. With this launch, the software platform now offers two solutions under OS1: ‘LocateOne’ and ‘DispatchOne’.

Earlier this year, the logistics giant had launched ‘DispatchOne’ – a delivery management solution, as the first offering on OS1.

Delhivery Offerings On OS1

LocateOne is a location intelligence stack that operates through APIs, offering a range of features to enhance the accuracy of address data. It helps improve rooftop accuracy and reduce address fraud for businesses operating in various sectors, including retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), ecommerce, fintech, banking, and financial services.

On the other hand, ‘DispatchOne’ is a delivery management solution that operates on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. It helps courier, express parcel (CEP) companies and businesses in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer durables, retail, and manufacturing sectors streamline their delivery and distribution processes.

It provides centralised, real-time order visibility and helps businesses cut costs by using their resources more efficiently.

“In our journey of 10+ years in logistics, we have built these solutions in-house with a deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by operators. OS1 is a great opportunity for businesses to leverage our validated solutions and achieve operational excellence without having to reinvent the wheel,” Kapil Bharati, chief technology officer and executive director, Delhivery, said.

Founded in 2011 and listed last year, the logistics unicorn competes with the likes of Xpressbees and Blue Dart, alongside Flipkart’s Ekart Logistics and Amazon’s Amazon Shipping.

Recently, Delhivery launched a new digital shipping platform, Delhivery One, to offer logistics support to small and medium enterprises, along with D2C brands, across the country.

Delhivery reported a 78% decline in net loss at INR 89.5 Cr in the June quarter of the financial year 2023-24 (FY24) from INR 399.3 Cr reported in the last year’s quarter. Its revenue from services rose 11% to INR 1,929.8 Cr in Q1 FY24 from INR 1,745.7 Cr in Q1 FY23.

Long before Edgar Wright’s The Running Man hits theaters this week, the director of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz had been thinking about making it. He read the original 1982 novel by Stephen King (under his pseudonym Richard Bachman) as a boy and excitedly went to theaters in 1987 to see the film version, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Wright enjoyed the adaptation but was a little let down by just how different it was from the novel. Years later, after he’d become a successful… Source link
