Logistics firm Xpressbees marks its foray into govt-backed ONDC

XpressBees, a logistics service provider in India, has recently joined the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

As part of the integration with ONDC, XpressBees will deliver to over 20,000 pin codes nationwide.

Enhancing ecommerce capabilities through ONDC

The collaboration with ONDC allows XpressBees to leverage its extensive logistics infrastructure, including warehouses, delivery centers, and a diverse vehicle fleet.

The integration is aimed at improving order processing, tracking, and ensuring timely deliveries. XpressBees’ technology-driven approach is expected to facilitate seamless connections with online marketplaces and retailers, ultimately enhancing customer experiences.

ONDC’s vision and XpressBees’ role

T Koshy, MD & CEO of ONDC, highlighted the network’s vision to create an open digital platform connecting various market players without barriers. He emphasized that logistics is a crucial component of this ecosystem.

XpressBees’ entry into the network is seen as a significant boost to ONDC’s logistics capabilities, promising a more robust e-commerce environment.

Amitava Saha, Co-Founder and CEO of XpressBees, said that this move aligns with their goal to expand their reach, now covering over 20,000 pin codes and 2800+ cities across India.
