Lenskart to launch smart glasses by March quarter with UPI, camera functions

Omnichannel eyewear retailer Lenskart will launch its AI-powered camera smart glasses by March 2026, wrote cofounder and chief executive Peyush Bansal in a note to shareholders accompanying the second quarter financial results.
Branded ‘B’ — Lenskart will make the smart glasses completely in-house. In a fireside chat at ET Startup Awards 2025, Bansal had shared that the company built an engineering team in India instead of importing an almost finished product from overseas to maintain control over data.
