Indian Angels closes Season 1 with 6cr 50 Lakhs of Investment with 13 Startups

TriGo Electric in episode 7 landed a deal, scoring Rs 40 lakhs for 5.06% equity, while episode 8 brought success for Habbits, securing Rs 30 lakhs for 15% equity

Episodes 7 and 8 of Indian Angels are now available for streaming on Jio Cinema. In Episode 7, three promising startups – Bare Wear, iYatraa Holidays, and TriGo Electric – took the stage to pitch their ideas. Ultimately, TriGo Electric secured a significant investment of Rs 40 lakhs at a valuation of 7.5 crore for 5.33% equity from Ajinkya.

Episode 8 brought forth Habbits, Priyam Online, and Estoqi as the pitching contenders. Notably, Habbits stood out by securing Rs 30 lakhs for 15% equity and the potential for an additional 20 lakhs debt at 10% interest from a consortium consisting of Shreedha, Aparna, Rikant, Kunal, and Ankit.

The distinguished panel of angel investors included Ajinkya Firodia, Managing Director of Kinetic Group; Ankit Agrawal, Founder & CEO of InsuranceDekho; Aparna Thyagarajan, Co-founder & Chief Product Officer of Shobitam; Kunal Kishore, Founder of Value 360; Rikant Pittie, Co-founder of EaseMyTrip; and Shreedha Singh, CEO & Co-founder of T.A.C – The Ayurveda Co.
