Govt amends cab aggregator rules; introduces gender choice option, tipping norms

In a significant move aimed at enhancing passenger safety, the ministry of road transport and highways has mandated cab aggregators to allow passengers to choose a driver of the same gender, including an option for female passengers to select a female driver for their journey when booking a ride.
