The government plans to promote more than 10,000 startups over the next five to six years through its GENESIS (Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups) initiative, according to Alkesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) (August 30).
“We are now moving to the next level where GENESIS is coming… “In the next 5-6 years, we plan to promote 10,000 startups,” Sharma told the news agency PTI. Sharma allegedly made the remarks while speaking at an interactive session hosted by MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) and attended by other senior bureaucrats from the ministry. Representatives from startups such as KidEx, Teralumens, iMumz, Recur Club, and AyuRhytm were also present.
Would-be entrepreneurs have an extra helping hand from Luxembourg’s Chamber of Commerce, which has published a new practical guide. ‘Developing your business: actions to take and mistakes to avoid’, was written to respond to the needs and answer the common questions of entrepreneurs. “Testimonials, practical tools, expert insights and presentations from key players in our ecosystem have been brought together to create a comprehensive toolkit that you can consult at any stage of your journey,” the introduction… Source link

Long before Edgar Wright’s The Running Man hits theaters this week, the director of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz had been thinking about making it.
