Google’s AI-powered ‘multisearch,’ which combines text and images in a single query, goes global

The search feature, which allows users to search using both text and images at the same time, was first introduced in April as a way to modernise Google search to better take advantage of the capabilities of smartphones. As previously stated by Google, multisearch is powered by A.I. technology known as Multitask Unified Model, or MUM, which can understand information in a variety of formats, such as text, photos, and videos, and then draw insights and connections between topics, concepts, and ideas.
