Google has announced a slew of new Android, Chromebook, and Wear OS features aimed at increasing connectivity, productivity, and accessibility.
The announcement was timed to coincide with the start of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona today. Among the new features are Fast Pair support for Chromebooks, Google Keep shortcuts for your phone and smartwatch, and new Wear OS accessibility modes. Fast Pair will soon be able to connect new Bluetooth headphones to a Chromebook with a single tap, according to the company. If a user has already configured headphones with their Android phone, their Chromebook will connect to them automatically. Google did not provide a specific release date for this update, but did state that it will be available “soon.”
