The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made significant progress in the GainBitcoin scam investigation following nationwide searches on February 25-26 across over 60 locations. Using its own resources, the CBI seized crucial incriminating evidence and virtual digital assets, offering a clearer picture of the scale of the cryptocurrency fraud.
The raids targeted major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Pune, among others. The operation represents a major step forward in dismantling the GainBitcoin scam.
