Flipkart Internet receives Rs 3,249 crore infusion from Singapore parent

Flipkart Internet, the marketplace arm of Walmart-owned Flipkart, has secured Rs 3,248.9 crore in internal funding from its Singapore-based parent entity, according to regulatory filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).

The Flipkart board issued 470,772 equity shares at Rs 69,013.7 per share on a rights issue basis, raising the funds from Flipkart Marketplace Private Limited in Singapore.
