The United States and China have reached a framework agreement over the future of TikTok in the US, just days before the app was due to be banned. US President Donald Trump confirmed the development on his Truth Social platform, announcing that “a deal was also reached on a ‘certain’ company that young people in our Country very much wanted to save”.
