ETtech Deals Digest: Startups raise $871 million in September, down 28% on-year


Indian startups raised about $871.2 million in funding between September 1 and 26, marking a 27.8% decrease from the full month last year, when they had raised a total of $1.2 billion across 190 rounds.

This month, startups, primarily in the seed, early, and late stages, secured funding through 87 rounds, according to data from market intelligence platform Tracxn.

In August 2025, startups raised around $914.4 million from 88 rounds.
