Elsevier appoints Sandeep Sancheti as VP of Research Relations and Academic Ambassador

Elsevier, a scientific information and data analytics firm, has announced the appointment of Prof Dr Sandeep Sancheti as the Vice President of Research Relations and Academic Ambassador for India. The move marks a significant step in strengthening the company’s academic and research ties within the country.

Who is Prof Dr Sancheti?

Prof Dr Sancheti boasts an impressive career spanning over four decades, marked by his leadership roles in several prestigious institutions. He has served as President of the Association of Indian Universities and Manipal University, Jaipur.

Additionally, his administrative expertise extends to his tenure as Director at various NITs across India and the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. He also held the position of Vice-Chancellor at SRM Institute of Science and TechnologyChennai, and Marwadi University, Rajkot.

Academic and research contributions

Not limited to administrative roles, Prof Dr Sancheti is a distinguished researcher with over 80 research papers published in national and international journals. His academic excellence is further highlighted by several prestigious awards and fellowships, including the Commonwealth Scholarship & Fellowship, SERC Fellowship from DST, Gol, and a UKISTRF award from the British Council.
