However, Musk has confirmed that an upcoming update will bring back the headlines of news articles on the platform. The titles will be overlaid on the image of a URL card. This change comes after X faced issues with advertisers, including major brands like IBM, Apple, and Disney, who paused or pulled their advertising due to allegations that Musk endorses far-right viewpoints and promotes antisemitism.
