EcoSoul Home raised undisclosed amount from Bhumi Pednekar

D2C eco-friendly home essentials startup, EcoSoul Home raised undisclosed amount from actor Bhumi Pednekar.

New Brand Ambassador for EcoSoul Home

Pednekar’s involvement goes beyond investment; she has also been named the brand ambassador of EcoSoul Home as part of the deal.

EcoSoul Home Vision for a Sustainable Lifestyle

EcoSoul Home shared on its official Instagram account, “As a brand ambassador and investor, Bhumi will foster EcoSoul’s mission of accelerating the world’s transition to a sustainable way of living – so that taking care of the earth is no longer a choice, but a lifestyle… We can’t wait to unfold this journey with you.”

Financial Details Kept Under Wraps

While not disclosing the specifics of the financial agreement, the company highlighted Pednekar’s role in promoting sustainable living.

Bhumi Pednekar’s Dedication to Positive Change

Pednekar expressed her excitement, stating, “EcoSoul Home’s range of eco-friendly and compostable products align perfectly with my values, and I am excited to be a part of this meaningful journey,” according to India Retailing. EcoSoul Home co-founder Rahul Singh also praised Pednekar’s alignment with their mission and dedication to driving positive change.

Founded in 2020 by Rahul Singh and Arvind Ganesan, EcoSoul Home offers an array of eco-friendly products, including crockery, cutlery, garbage bags, and tableware. Initially based in the US, with operational presence in China and Vietnam, the startup expanded into the Indian market earlier this year.

Pednekar’s investment contributes to her expanding portfolio in the Indian startup scene. She had previously invested in ventures such as the green homecare brand Beco and the boutique hotel chain Chrome Asia Hospitality Group. This trend of Bollywood personalities investing in startups is on the rise, with recent investments by other celebrities like Sukhbir Singh and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

EcoSoul Home’s new collaboration with Bhumi Pednekar follows their recent funding round led by Accel, where the startup secured $10 million. As more prominent figures join forces with startups, the Indian entrepreneurial landscape is seeing a convergence of entertainment and business, fostering innovation and sustainable practices.
