Dunzo’s quick commerce operations under Dunzo Daily have come to a halt in Bengaluru

Reliance Retail-backed Dunzo’s quick commerce operations under Dunzo Daily have come to a halt in Bengaluru, its largest market, over the last two days as its delivery executives have gone on strike to protest changes to its delivery policy.

As of Thursday afternoon, Dunzo Daily, the 20-minute delivery service, was still unavailable in many parts of Bengaluru. “Dunzo Daily will be back in a while,” said a message on the app. The company has begun to promote ‘batching of orders,’ which means that a single delivery person is assigned multiple orders to service in a single trip. Dunzo has also made internal technological changes to how orders are assigned to delivery partners and picked, causing further friction with the company.
