Despite the hype, Battlefield 6 fails to dent Call of Duty’s reign in the US ahead of Black Ops 7 launch — but there’s a big caveat


Publisher Electronic Arts’ (EA) latest first-person shooter Battlefield 6 launched back on October 10, and since it arrived, it’s been putting up some pretty impressive numbers, with the game selling over 7 million copies in its first three days.

Since then, Circana executive director Mat Piscatella has shared updates on the most-played games in the U.S on a weekly basis. For the week ending October 25, Battlefield 6 continued to hold strong as the most-played game on Steam, ranking at the #6 and #7…
