Delhi residents can soon apply for important documents like birth and caste certificates on the instant messaging app WhatsApp.
The Delhi government has identified as many as 50 departments that can render services via the messaging app as part of the ‘Governance through WhatsApp’ initiative, officials told PTI. It means services will go faceless and become more efficient for people in the national capital.
