CashKaro offers cashbacks on shopping, onboards Genelia Deshmukh as brand ambassador

Gurugram-based CashKaro, offering cashback and rewards on shopping from ecommerce marketplaces, recently onboarded Genelia Deshmukh as its brand ambassador. 

As part of the appointment, CashKaro said it has released a 360-degree advertising campaign featuring Deshmukh, which describes how shopping via its platform will help users earn extra cashback to transfer to their bank. A series of three films encapsulate this value proposition of CashKaro with Deshmukh and three of her family members, providing relatability amongst today’s audience.

With this new campaign, CashKaro plans to grow its 20 million user base to more than 100 million in the coming years.

In November last year, CashKaro raised Rs 130 crore in a Series C funding round led by Affle Global Pte. Ltd. (AGPL). It is also backed by prominent investors, including Kalaari Capital, Ratan Tata, Korea Investment Partners, and more.

Cashkaro, through its online platform, offers coupons, price comparisons, and deals to consumers to earn cashback and rewards for online shopping e-commerce sites. The platform has partnered with several e-commerce brands, including Flipkart, Amazon, Tata 1mg, and Myntra.
